Name: David Ferrer
David "Ferru" Ferrer Ern was born on April 2, 1982 in Javia, Spain, to Jamie, his father an accountant, and Pilar his mother the school teacher. David began early in his years to follow in his Brother Javier's footsteps. He moved to Gandia at age 13, and then 2 years later moved to Barcelona to attend Catalan Tennis Federation. After spending nine months there he moved back to Javia. In 2000 David turned professional Tennis Player, and is now in his 12th year on the ATP tour where he is currently ranked #5 on the ATP Tour.
Some of David Ferrer's accomplishments include: 11 Singles Championships, 2 Doubles Titles, and 14 ATP Singles Titles.
