Arthur Ashe Stadium opened in 1997 to replace the Louis Armstrong Stadium as the primary venue for the US Open tournament, costing $254 million to construct. The Stadium is part of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY. The Arthur Ashe stadium allows seating for 22,547 individual people, and also has 90 Luxury Suites that can accommodate seating for 22 people in each.
